Application: Engineered specifically for cutting through tough synthetic fibers and para-aramid/aramid composite materials such as Kevlar, Dyneema, Spectra, Vectran, Dacron, Nomex, Technora, Innegra, Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, and other fire resistant fabrics with ease. Also used for Splicing.
Specifications: Ultra-sharp, Wear-resistant High Carbon Alloy Steel Blades infused with Molybedenum and Vanadium to deliver clean, precise cuts without fraying or slipping. Rockwell Standard HRC 60-62. Cutting edge hardness HV1200. One micro-serrated blade to provide maximum hold on the material to ensure a clean and precise cut. Extended tang for durability. Non-serrated blade can be sharpened. RoHS compliant.
The handles are ergonimically designed to reduce fatigue and wrist strain, while allowing powerful and accurate cuts. Handles are ambidextrous for right or left hand use and are made of Thermoplastic Elastomer for comfort and durability.
